OFFSCREEN was a bit of an experiment — an opportunity to step away from our glowing screens and spend a fall evening outdoors, listening to the radio together.
For over an hour, we gathered on the lawn at Sandy Creek Nature Center, laughing at stories from This American Life and taking in a live performance by Cicada Rhythm as the sun went down. The event embodied everything I love about local radio — community, storytelling, and genuine connection — proof that some of the best experiences still happen offline.
I created the event banner for OFFSCREEN, helping establish the visual tone to match its warm, unplugged atmosphere. The photos featured here were captured by Ziggy Moon.
